Skywheels Rotor Blade Systems was featured in the May 2021 issue of EAA Sports Aviation Magazine.  The Experimental Aircraft Association distributes the magazine to its 240,000 members worldwide.

Innovation column author Beth Stanton weaved together 40-years of Skywheels history that includes recent work between Skywheels owner Joe Covelli and the team at Blackhawk Aerospace Composites. They've been working together on the project since October 2019 to bring the rotors back into manufacturing and on the market again.  Flight tests were successfully completed last year in Missouri and new rotor blade spin-up test equipment was installed last month at Blackhawk's new 21,000 sq. ft. facility in Kentucky.

Rotor blade pre-orders are now being accepted with deliveries almost ready to begin.
