The center section crate comes in two lengths:

(1) The 3-ft. crate is used for the 3-ft. center section.

(2) The 5-ft. crate is used for the 5-ft. center section.

Each crate securely holds one center section. Two custom foam wedges wrap the center section and lock it in place. A rotor blade assembly tool kit is tucked underneath the left wedge and rubber/plastic mallet and angle protractor under the right wedge.  Foam lines parts of the crate interior.

Construction is superior with the crate nailed, glued, and screwed. Spring tension butterfly twist handles allow for easy open and close to secure the top to the base, while preserving the crate for many years of repeated use. Best of all, no wood screws are used to secure the top, avoiding use of a screw gun and saving you time.

A clear protective coat is applied to both the outside and inside of the crate to protect it against outside elements during transportation and inside hangar or garage storage.  The crate should never be stored outside in the harsh elements.

For the 5-ft. crate, a final touch was added with the addition of two rolling casters at one end, and at the other end an easy lift metal handle.  One person can easily move the crate!

For the 3-ft. crate, a metal handle is installed on the side of the crate to be easily carried.
