Skywheels quickly became the leading rotor blade system for kit-built gyroplanes. From 1985 until 2001, over 3,000 blade sets were delivered. In 2001, Skywheels was sold and for two-years made rotors and then went dormant.
In 2018, Skywheels, LLC, acquired the original tooling to again manufacture 23- to 29-foot rotor blade sets.
The proven composite rotor system is designed to exceed requirements of FAA Regulation Part 27 for normal category rotorcraft. > Click for more information.
