JOB TITLE: “Build, Train, Fly” – Manager of Sales & Customer Experience

Air Command International and Skywheels Rotor Systems are looking to hire a part-time gyroplane rotorcraft sales and customer experience manager to our team with the opportunity to expand into full-time work based on productivity.  There is an option to work remotely or from our manufacturing partner’s location at Blackhawk Aerospace Composites in Morgantown, Kentucky.  The schedule is flexible and would include hours during the day, evening, and some weekends.  Some travel is required.  Learning to pilot and safely provide flight demonstrations of the companies’ products is a requirement of employment.

Air Command is the longest operating gyroplane manufacturer in the US and has a customer base worldwide.  Its gyroplane rotorcraft products are safe, stable, and fun to fly and offer a great entry point into aviation.  Air Command gyroplanes are paired with Skywheels’ high-performance rotor blades, offering the perfect sport flying experience.  We are committed to making aircraft ownership possible for our customers through our “Build, Train, Fly” program.  In the past three years, the company has dedicated considerable time to refresh its product line.  This work is nearly complete so that sales can begin of its gyroplane kit models and rotor blade system products.  In addition, it is in the early stages of recruiting gyroplane flight instructors to provide its customers with expert instruction in its aviation products.

Job Type: Part-time with the option to full-time based on productivity

  • Participate and drive the companies’ sales process
  • Gyroplane kit, parts, and rotor blade quoting, quote follow-ups, and bookings to generate sales
  • Manage current sales and interest pipeline
  • Grow company sales and explore new revenue opportunities
  • Inventory and customer order fulfillment responsibilities
  • Provide gyroplane flight demonstrations
  • Willing to attend industry events representing the companies
  • Willing to be occasionally scheduled after-hours on-call from home
  • Aviation experience or strong interest
  • A high degree of computer skills using various platforms and data entry
  • Experience interfacing with individuals and companies
  • Sales and customer service experience
  • Hold current private or commercial FAA pilot certification or willing to work toward certification immediately upon hire
  • Must be tech-savvy, able to use phone-based apps, and fluent in Windows-based applications
  • Ability to navigate through a variety of tasks while encountering changing priorities
  • Organized and able to set priorities
